Introduction
Sirenic armour is a tier 90 ranged power armour in RuneScape, equivalent to malevolent and tectonic armour. It is created using sirenic scales and algarum thread, requiring level 90 defence to wear. While it offers excellent set bonuses, its repair mechanics have raised questions among players.
Repair Mechanics of Sirenic Armour
Sirenic armour degrades for 100,000 charges of combat before falling apart and vanishing completely. Unlike some other armours, it cannot be repaired normally. However, players can combine two Sirenic armour pieces to consolidate the charges. This unique repair mechanism allows players to extend the life of their armour without fully replacing it.
Tradeability and Augmentation
The armour is tradeable until it is first worn, but partially worn parts are not tradeable. Additionally, sirenic armour can be augmented, which affects its repair costs. For instance, the augmented sirenic hauberk and chaps can be repaired, preserving their perks. The repair costs for these items are substantial, making it crucial for players to manage their armour effectively.
