Understanding Tuvala Gear Conversion
Tuvala gear conversion is a crucial process in Black Desert Online’s seasonal gameplay. It allows players to transform their season-exclusive Tuvala equipment into family-bound gear that can be used across all characters. This conversion process typically occurs during season graduation or early graduation.
When Can You Convert Tuvala Gear?
Tuvala gear conversion becomes available during two main scenarios:
Season Graduation: At the end of a season, all players must graduate, and their Tuvala gear is automatically converted.
Early Graduation: Players who complete their season pass early can choose to graduate before the season ends. In this case, they receive Tuvala Conversion Stones to manually convert their gear.
The Conversion Process
During conversion, the following occurs:
• The highest enhanced piece of each Tuvala gear slot is converted to family-bound gear
• Duplicate pieces are removed, except for rings and earrings (up to two of each are kept)
• Crystals and creator family names on PEN (V) items are maintained
• Converted gear can no longer be enhanced
Benefits of Tuvala Gear Conversion
Converting Tuvala gear offers several advantages:
• Allows use of season gear on non-seasonal characters
• Provides a foundation for obtaining boss gear
• Enables participation in end-game content with decent gear
Post-Conversion Options
After conversion, players have two main options for their Tuvala gear:
Boss Gear Exchange: Use a Boss Gear Exchange Coupon to trade PEN Tuvala for TET boss gear.
Jetina’s Guaranteed PEN: Participate in a questline to gradually upgrade converted Tuvala to PEN boss gear.
