How to Completely Uninstall Reimage Repair on Windows

Reimage Repair is a program designed to help fix various issues on your Windows computer. However, if you no longer need it or want to remove it, here’s how to completely uninstall Reimage Repair on your Windows PC:

Step 1: Uninstall Reimage Repair from Programs and Features

Open the Start menu and search for “Control Panel”. Open the Control Panel.
In the Control Panel, click on “Uninstall a program” under the Programs category.
In the “Programs and Features” window, scroll through the list of installed programs until you find “Reimage PC Repair Online” or “Advanced Driver Booster”.
Click on the program to highlight it, then click on the “Uninstall” button at the top of the window.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the uninstallation process.

Step 2: Remove Reimage Repair Leftovers

Open File Explorer and navigate to the following folders:
C:\Program Files\Reimage Repair
C:\Program Files (x86)\Reimage Repair
If the folders exist, right-click on them and select “Delete” to remove any leftover files.
Open the Run dialog by pressing Windows R keys.
Type “regedit” and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
In the Registry Editor, navigate to the following keys and delete them if they exist:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Reimage
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Reimage
Close the Registry Editor.

Step 3: Remove Reimage Repair Shortcuts

Right-click on your desktop and select “Personalize”.
Click on “Themes” in the left pane, then select “Desktop icon settings”.
Uncheck the box next to “Reimage Repair” and click “OK” to remove the desktop shortcut.
Open the Start menu and right-click on any Reimage Repair shortcuts. Select “Unpin from Start” to remove them from the Start menu.

Step 4: Use a Malware Removal Tool (Optional)

If you suspect that Reimage Repair has left behind any malicious files or registry entries, you can use a malware removal tool to scan your system and clean up any remaining traces.
Some popular malware removal tools include:
Malwarebytes
AdwCleaner
HitmanPro
