How to Easily Repair Scratches and Nicks in Wood Trim

Dealing with scratches and nicks in your wood trim can be a frustrating experience, but there are some simple solutions to restore the look of your surfaces. Whether it’s from your pet’s claws, furniture moving, or general wear and tear, these steps will have your wood trim looking good as new in no time.

Clean the Area

Start by thoroughly cleaning the affected area with a damp rag. This will remove any dirt, debris, or loose wood particles that could interfere with the repair process. Be careful not to oversaturate the wood, as too much moisture can cause further damage.

Fill the Scratches and Nicks
