Click on the power icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard.
While holding Shift, click on the Restart option.

Your PC will restart and take you to the Choose an option screen.

If you’re logged in to Windows, you can access Safe Mode through the Settings charm:

Press Ctrl Alt Delete on your keyboard.
Click on the power icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard.
While holding Shift, click on the Restart option.

Your PC will restart and take you to the Choose an option screen.

Selecting Safe Mode Options

Once you reach the Choose an option screen, follow these steps to enter Safe Mode:

Select Troubleshoot.
Select Advanced options.
Select Startup Settings.
Click the Restart button.
After your PC restarts, you’ll see a list of options. For Safe Mode, press 4 or F4.

Your PC will now boot into Safe Mode, allowing you to troubleshoot and resolve any issues you may be experiencing.
