Run the System File Checker 1. Click Start, type cmd in the search box, and right-click Command Prompt in the results. 2. Select “Run as administrator” and click Yes to confirm. 3. At the command prompt, type sfc /scannow and press Enter. 4. Wait for the process to finish and restart your computer.

Check for Corrupted Language Packs

Open an elevated command prompt as described above.
Type lpksetup.exe and press Enter.
If any language packs appear to be corrupted, try reinstalling them or remove them and try installing SP1 again.
