In Hay Day, the Sanctuary is a special area where you can house exotic animals and earn reputation points. To unlock the Sanctuary, you need to reach reputation level 3 and have a strip of land touching the Sanctuary area on your map. Once you’ve met these requirements, you can start attracting visitors to your Sanctuary.
The key to getting visitors to your Sanctuary is to serve town visitors in the service buildings they want to visit. You can find these visitors in the “Waiting” section of the Town Hall. Look for visitors with a paw icon next to their name, indicating they want to visit the Sanctuary.
To serve these visitors, go to the service building they are waiting at (e.g., Cinema, Spa) and start serving them. Once they are fully served, they will ask to visit the Sanctuary. If you have an animal in the Sanctuary, they will go there and interact with it, earning you reputation points.
Upgrading your service buildings can help you earn more reputation points per visitor. Each time you upgrade a building, the amount of reputation points you earn for serving visitors there will increase. However, you only need to reach reputation level 3 to unlock the Sanctuary, so focus on serving visitors first.
Remember, you need to feed the Sanctuary animals before the visitors arrive. If you don’t have any animals in the Sanctuary, the visitors won’t be able to interact with them and won’t earn you any reputation points.
