How to Perform a Windows 7 Startup Repair

If your Windows 7 system is experiencing issues that prevent it from booting properly, you can try performing a startup repair to resolve the problem. Here are the steps to force a Windows 7 repair:

Restart Your Computer

As soon as your computer begins to restart, press and hold the F8 key. This will bring up the Advanced Boot Options menu.

Select “Repair Your Computer”

From the Advanced Boot Options menu, use the arrow keys to select the “Repair Your Computer” option, then press Enter.

Access System Recovery Options

The System Recovery Options menu will now appear, providing you with several tools to help diagnose and repair your Windows 7 installation. You can choose from options like Startup Repair, System Restore, and the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool to troubleshoot your system.
