In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the Boulder Breaker is a powerful two-handed weapon that was once wielded by the Goron Champion Daruk. If Link loses or breaks this weapon, he can visit Rohan, the Goron City Blacksmith, to have it remade. Here’s how to get a new Boulder Breaker:
Completing the Yunobo of Goron City Quest
Before you can obtain the Boulder Breaker, you must first complete the main quest “Yunobo of Goron City” in Goron City. This will allow you to speak with Rohan and his apprentice Fugo about reforging the weapon.
Gathering the Required Materials
To have the Boulder Breaker remade, you’ll need to provide Fugo with the following materials:
Cobble Crusher
5 Flint
3 Diamonds
Cobble Crushers can be found in chests around Death Mountain or by defeating a specific Boss Bokoblin near Gorondia. Flint is a common drop from smashing ore deposits, while Diamonds are a rare drop with a golden glitter. Diamonds can also be purchased from shops in Goron City for 1000 Rupees each.
Speaking with Fugo
Once you have all the required materials, simply speak with Fugo in Goron City and hand them over. He will then reforge the Boulder Breaker for you to use.
After this initial quest, Fugo can continue to remake the Boulder Breaker whenever Link’s current one breaks, as long as you have the necessary materials.
