How to Repair Tectonic Armour in RuneScape 3

When a piece of tectonic armour becomes partially used, it can be combined with another partially used piece of the same type to consolidate the charges. For example, if you have a 90% charged tectonic mask and a 2% charged tectonic mask, you can use the 90% charged mask on the 2% charged mask to create a single 92% charged mask.

This consolidation process is the only way to repair tectonic armour without using another full piece. It’s important to note that once a piece of tectonic armour is worn, it can no longer be augmented, even if it has not been used in combat.

Dyed Tectonic Armour

Dyed tectonic armour functions slightly differently when it comes to repair. Instead of degrading to dust like the regular tectonic armour, dyed pieces degrade to a broken state. To repair dyed tectonic armour, you need to use tectonic energy on the broken piece to restore its charges.

The consolidation process mentioned earlier can also be applied to dyed tectonic armour pieces, allowing you to combine partially used pieces of the same type to create a single piece with higher charges.

Elite Tectonic Armour

Elite tectonic armour is an upgraded version of the standard tectonic armour, offering even greater power. To repair elite tectonic armour, you need to use a set of elite tectonic repair patches on the fully degraded piece.

Augmented elite tectonic armour, which retains its perks even when out of charges, can be repaired by using a set of elite tectonic repair patches and divine charges on the armour. This process consumes the patches but preserves all the perks of the augmented version.
