How to Repair the Poseidon Power Plant in Fallout 76

If you’re having trouble with the Powering Up Poseidon event in Fallout 76, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. Repairing the Poseidon Power Plant is a crucial step in claiming the workshop and harvesting fusion cores, but it can be tricky if you don’t know what to do. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process step-by-step so you can get the power plant up and running in no time.

Repairing the Cooling System

The first step in repairing the power plant is to fix the cooling system. Look for brown pipes with stripes on them – these are the ones that can break. Keep an eye out for steam bursting out of the pipes, and when you see it, approach and interact with the pipe to seal it.

Repairing the Generator

Next, head to the generator area, which is a dark place. You’ll need to look for broken terminals with sparks flying out of them. Interact with them and they’ll light up, indicating that they’ve been repaired. Once you’ve fixed enough of them, the meter will fill and you’ll be able to move on to the next area.

Repairing the Reactor

The reactor area is a bit tricky, as there’s some jumping and balancing involved, which can be uncomfortable when playing in first person. There’s also a lot of radiation here, so make sure you either stock up on Rad Away and Rad-X, or get a Hazmat Suit. You can find one in a container on the roof of the Poseidon Power Plant.

The puzzle itself is a mix of the previous two – you’ll have to fix both pipes and control consoles. Once you’ve completed this step, the marker will lead you to the main control room.

Restarting the Power Plant

In the main control room, use the terminal to restart the power plant. This will complete the event and allow you to claim the workshop, which includes a node that produces fusion cores.
