Why Can’t I Start Pet Battles in World of Warcraft?

If you’re a World of Warcraft player eager to dive into the world of pet battles, but find yourself unable to access this feature, there may be a few reasons why. Let’s explore the requirements and restrictions for participating in pet battles in WoW.

Character Level Requirement

To begin your pet battling journey, your character must be at least level 5. This is a prerequisite set by the game developers to ensure that players have a basic understanding of the game mechanics before venturing into the pet battle system.

Obtaining Battle Pet Training

Once your character reaches level 5, you’ll need to visit a Battle Pet Trainer located in your capital city. For Alliance characters, Audrey Burnhep in Stormwind can provide the necessary training, while Horde characters should seek out Varzok in Orgrimmar.

After purchasing the Battle Pet Training from the trainer, the skill will be unlocked for all characters on your Blizzard account, regardless of their level or location.

Trial Account Restrictions

If you’re playing on a World of Warcraft trial account, you will not have access to the Battle Pet Trainer or the ability to participate in pet battles. Trial accounts are limited in their features and content to encourage players to upgrade to the full version of the game.

To unlock the pet battle system and other restricted features, you’ll need to upgrade your account to the full version of World of Warcraft.
