Troubleshooting Internet Explorer Issues
If you encounter issues with Internet Explorer after the repair installation, you may need to uninstall any later versions of IE that were installed. To do this:
- Open the **Add/Remove Programs** control panel
- Locate and remove any versions of Internet Explorer higher than IE6
- If IE is not listed, you can manually uninstall it using the Recovery Console
After uninstalling the higher IE versions, perform the repair installation again and IE6 should work properly. Be sure to install the latest service pack afterwards.
