However, before planning a trip, it’s important to understand the fees associated with visiting this beach. Resident Beach Passes
Resident beach passes are free for Highland Park residents and are valid for three years. To obtain a pass, residents must show proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill. The resident pass provides parking access every day, including holidays, through December 31, 2021, at the following beach lots:
Lower Rosewood
Upper Rosewood
Park Avenue North
Central Park (Upper Lot)
Millard
Moraine
The resident pass is valid from dawn to dusk every day.
Non-Resident Beach Passes
Non-residents have the option to purchase a season pass or a daily fee pass. The non-resident season pass costs $100 for the head of household and $25 for each additional family member. This pass is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
For those who don’t want to purchase a season pass, a daily fee pass is available for $10. This pass can be used for non-resident guests and is available for purchase at Rosewood Beach starting Memorial Day weekend.
Hourly Parking
Hourly parking is available in the upper lot of Rosewood Beach and can be paid on-premises. The rates are as follows:
$40 for 4 hours
$15 per hour
This hourly parking option is not valid on holidays (July 4, Memorial Day, and Labor Day). Additionally, non-resident daily parking is not allowed at Moraine, Central, Millard, Park Avenue North Lot, or Rosewood Lower Lot.
