The oil pressure sensor is typically located behind the intake manifold or in another hard-to-reach area of the engine. To access it, you’ll need some basic tools like a ratchet, extension, and the right socket size. Once removed, the sensor can be cleaned using a few simple steps:

Spray the sensor with a brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner to remove any built-up oil, sludge, or debris.
Use compressed air to blow out any remaining contaminants.
Dry the sensor thoroughly with a clean cloth or paper towel.

Reinstalling the Sensor

After cleaning, simply reinstall the sensor and reconnect the electrical connector. Be sure to use Teflon tape on the threads to ensure a proper seal and prevent any future leaks.
