How to Repair Enchanted Gear in Minecraft

Enchanted gear in Minecraft can be a valuable asset, but it can also be a challenge to maintain. Fortunately, there are several ways to repair enchanted items and keep them in top condition.

Mending Enchantment

The most efficient way to repair enchanted gear is to use the Mending enchantment. With Mending, any experience points you gain will automatically be used to repair the item, rather than increasing your player level. This means you can keep your enchanted gear in pristine condition without having to constantly repair it using materials.

To get the Mending enchantment, you can either find it in a loot chest, purchase it from a librarian villager, or find a Mending book and apply it to your gear using an anvil.

Anvil Repairs

Another option is to create a new item with the desired enchantments and then use it to repair the old, damaged item in the anvil. This can be a more expensive approach, but it allows you to maintain the enchantments on your gear.
