If you’re an avid player of Old School RuneScape (OSRS), you’re likely familiar with the powerful Dwarf Multicannon. This handy tool can make quick work of your enemies, but what happens if you accidentally log out while your cannon is still set up? Fear not, as you can easily reclaim your cannon in OSRS.
Retrieving Your Cannon
According to the OSRS wiki, if you log out or switch worlds while your cannon is set up, you can retrieve it back free of charge from Nulodion, the Dwarf Cannon engineer and Weapons Development Chief of the Dwarven Black Guard.
Cannons will not immediately disappear if they are set up and the player switches worlds, as long as you return to the same world in a timely manner. This means you can swap between worlds without losing your cannon, as long as you reclaim it from Nulodion before it decays.
Cannon Decay and Retrieval
Cannons have a lifespan of 25 minutes before they start to break down. Once a cannon has been continually set up for 25 minutes, a message will appear that the cannon has broken, and it will need to be repaired. If an additional 10 minutes pass without repairing the cannon, it will disappear.
However, even if your cannon disappears, you can still reclaim it from Nulodion at no cost. Replaced cannons come loaded with the same amount of cannonballs that were in the cannon when it was lost.
Reclaiming Your Cannon
To reclaim your cannon, simply speak to Nulodion and select the dialogue option “I’ve lost my cannon.” He will then return your cannon to you, allowing you to continue your OSRS adventures without missing a beat.
