In the vast open world of Black Desert Online (BDO), navigating the high seas is an integral part of the gameplay experience. As you embark on your seafaring adventures, it’s crucial to understand how to maintain the durability of your trusty vessel. In this article, we’ll explore the ins and outs of repairing ship durability in BDO, ensuring your maritime journeys remain smooth and uninterrupted.
Repairing Durability at the Mast
One of the key methods for repairing your ship’s durability is through the use of the ship’s mast. To access this feature, you’ll need to move around the ship’s mast until the correct user interface (UI) pops up. Once you’ve located the correct UI, simply press the “F6” key to initiate the “Mount Repair” function.
Using Repair Kits
If you find yourself in a situation where you don’t have easy access to a Wharf Manager, you can utilize various repair kits to restore your ship’s durability. These kits include:
Ship Repair Material: Provides a 2% durability restoration and takes 10 seconds to apply.
Emergency Ship Repair Kit: Restores 0.4% of the ship’s durability.
Ship Repair Kit: Restores 2% of the ship’s durability and takes 20 seconds to apply.
Luxury Ship Repair Kit: Restores 4% of the ship’s durability.
To use these repair kits, simply interact with the ship’s mast and select the appropriate option. Keep in mind that if you have multiple types of repair kits in your inventory, the first one in the non-auto arrange state will be used.
Repairing Ship Gear
As you progress in your ship upgrades, you’ll start to equip and use various ship gear. These gear pieces also require regular maintenance and repair. To repair your ship’s gear, you’ll need to visit a Wharf Manager and select the “Repair” option from the NPC’s menu. This will allow you to restore the condition of your ship’s equipment.
