In the post-apocalyptic world of State of Decay 2, your weapons are essential tools for survival. However, as you battle hordes of zombies and scavenge for resources, your weapons will inevitably become damaged. To keep your arsenal in top condition, you’ll need to learn how to repair weapons in State of Decay 2.
Building a Workshop
The first step in repairing weapons is to construct a Workshop at your home base. The Workshop is a crucial facility that allows you to repair, craft, and upgrade various items, including weapons. To build a Workshop, you’ll need to have the necessary materials and resources, such as Construction Materials and Mechanical Parts.
Repairing Damaged Weapons
Once you have a Workshop, you can repair your damaged weapons. To do this, simply take the damaged weapon to the Workshop and interact with it. The game will prompt you to spend resources, such as Parts, to repair the weapon. The amount of resources required depends on the weapon’s damage level and its base cost to repair.
It’s important to note that you can only repair weapons that are equipped by a survivor in your community. Weapons stored in your supply locker cannot be repaired directly. Instead, you’ll need to equip the damaged weapon to a survivor, then take them to the Workshop to initiate the repair process.
