If you’re a Windows 10 user who has been relying on Internet Explorer, you may have noticed that the browser has become increasingly difficult to access after recent updates. However, there’s no need to worry – you can still restore Internet Explorer on your Windows 10 device.
Check if Internet Explorer is Installed
The first step is to check if Internet Explorer is already installed on your system. You can do this by following these steps:
1. Type “Control Panel” in the search box on your desktop and select the Control Panel app.
2. Click on “View all” in the left pane and then select “Programs and Features”.
3. In the Programs and Features window, look for “Internet Explorer” in the list of installed programs.
If you see Internet Explorer listed, it means it’s already installed on your system. If not, you’ll need to proceed to the next step.
Enable Internet Explorer in Windows Features
If Internet Explorer is not listed in the Programs and Features window, you can enable it through the Windows Features menu. Here’s how:
1. Type “Control Panel” in the search box on your desktop and select the Control Panel app.
2. Click on “View all” in the left pane and then select “Programs and Features”.
3. In the Programs and Features window, click on “Turn Windows features on or off”.
4. In the Windows Features window, scroll down and check the box next to “Internet Explorer 11”.
5. Click “OK” and then restart your computer.
After the restart, you should be able to access Internet Explorer on your Windows 10 device.
