The Edge of Duality, being made of metal, will attract lightning if equipped during thunderstorms. This means that Link must be cautious when using this weapon during such weather conditions to avoid taking unnecessary damage. Instead of dropping the weapon, it is recommended to unequip it to prevent lightning strikes.
Behavior in Water
Another important aspect of the Edge of Duality is its behavior in water. Unlike some other weapons, it will sink if dropped in water. However, this is not a permanent loss, as the weapon can be retrieved using the Magnesis Rune.
Other Properties
Beyond its metal composition, the Edge of Duality has several other notable properties. It does not burn in fire or scorching climates, unlike wooden weapons. Additionally, it can be thrown and will not break instantly when thrown at enemies.
