How to Repair the Champions’ Weapons in Zelda: Breath of the Wild

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Champions’ weapons are some of the most powerful and iconic items Link can obtain. However, like most weapons in the game, they are susceptible to breaking over time. Fortunately, there is a way to repair these special weapons and restore them to their former glory.

Repairing the Champions’ Weapons

To repair a broken Champion’s weapon, you need to visit a specific NPC in the corresponding Champion’s hometown. Each NPC requires a unique set of materials to craft a replacement weapon:

Ceremonial Trident (Mipha’s weapon): Dento in Zora’s Domain requires a Zora Spear, 5 Flint, and a Diamond.
Scimitar of the Seven (Urbosa’s weapon): Buliara in Gerudo Town requires a Gerudo Scimitar, 5 Flint, and a Diamond.
Boulder Breaker (Daruk’s weapon): Rohan in Goron City requires a Cobble Crusher, 5 Flint, and a Diamond.
Great Eagle Bow (Revali’s weapon): Harth in Rito Village requires a Swallow Bow, 5 Wood Bundles, and a Diamond.

The required base weapon (Zora Spear, Gerudo Scimitar, Cobble Crusher, or Swallow Bow) can usually be found near the NPC who repairs the Champion’s weapon. For example, the Cobble Crusher is located near Rohan’s house in Goron City.

It’s important to note that the Champions’ weapons are among the most durable in the game, but they can still break eventually. If you’re careful with their use, you may only need to repair them a few times throughout your playthrough.

Replacing the Champions’ Weapons

If you prefer not to repair the Champions’ weapons, you can also obtain replacement versions by speaking to the corresponding NPC in each Champion’s hometown. They will provide you with a new weapon if you bring them the necessary materials.

Keep in mind that the Champions’ weapons, while powerful, can eventually be outclassed by other weapons found throughout Hyrule. It’s up to you to decide whether to invest in repairing or replacing them as you progress through the game.
